disagreaable but it has Cleared up nice the
nats is so bad that I Can hardly

thersday me and Emma and Lis and
Ellie hauld another heap of wood
with old tobe this letter I will take
op to the furnace next week we think
you will be home this month yet
Harry gossague says you will be home in
6 weeks the news Come from Huntington [2]
last week that there was 6 hundred
thousand men to be discharged we got
the news hear that tha got jef davis
we only hope that it ma be so
