I Recieved your kind and welcome
letter las night Dated Feb 19th I was verry
glad to Hear from you and would like to
Have you write as often as posiple for
a letter allways comes Exceptable in the army
you said the draft was soon to come off
and would take Every man liable to the draft
I am sorry to see the men Have to leave there
familys and go to the army But its the
ownly way to put the Damd Rebbles down
and I am glad to see that the president
is determind to put them through for a fiew
more months will finish the thing up if
the war is prosecuted as it Has Ben for
the last year if it takes Every man
I Say put them through for this Winters
Campain is Something they dident look
for and it Has Hurt them awful Bad
it is there death wound that is [??]
