Dear Cousin Sabra

I received your
welcome letter Last Saturday Night
I was glad to hear from you I will assure
you but Sorry to hear about your lit-
-tle Girl but axidence will hapen inspi-
-te of us some times. Johnny is no better
but we think is worse on some accounts
we do not think he can ever be any better
Mother is quite smart Now. Poor [Lanam?]
is Just about so he was wounded in
his right arm can not stir one of his
fingers nor arm no more than he he had
none I will stop and get diner now

Madam,- Your cousin
has been teasing me to write
something to you and as I am
not in the habit of denying her
anything that I can do of course
I shall not refuse to write a few
words to her beloved cousin.
I wish that I was aquainted
with you, I know that I should
like to know you and as I want to
know all of her cousins &c. maybe
you will see her and I down that
way about the time that appels
are good and ripe, I hope you
raise plenty of apples and potatoes
down there for I am a great
fellow for that kind of
fruits. I guess that you will
have to excuse me for tonight

neither aquainted with me or
I with you I will let Eliza
finish this, so good night &c.

I again sit down to finish
this long begun letter since I commenced this
Mr. Webber has been down & you see he had
writen some by my teasing him. we think of com
ing out for a tour next fall in sept or Oct
we do not know which yet but I will tell you
before we come. I want you should see my little
fellow he is not as large as Johnny. he is a Carri
ge trimmer and Striper he is from
Rahway New Jersey been keeping company
with him a year. think we are aquainted
enough to know each other lived in one
house seven Months
