It will be
a dry forth
to the solders
i hope it will
not bee so with
you thare is no sine of
a forth hear you would
hardly know it was forth
of July onley by hearing
the men talk not a gun
fired not a drum hurde
everey thing is quiet as
if it was sunday
we hav not had a male
fore severel days i hav
not receved no letter from
you since yours of the
21 june i expect thay
hav bin delade some
ware

letter to a close at
present i think the male
will gowe out this morning
i hear that mat coper
has got home thrue this
retrete you might sende
theme shirtes with hime
when he comes i think
he will be hear before
long as all men are order
to thar rigments fit fore
dutey please sende me
some poste stampes i hav
got paper giv my
beste respicts to all
the folks tell them
we are all well
biley rubotem was kiled
by a canon ball i would
like to write more but
time will not alow at present
