I take this opportunty
of writing a few lines
to you I hope thay

well as thay leave
us At present
I receved your note
dated the 28 and paper
last night dated the 29
we hav had some rough
weather thease last few
days saturday night it
commenced to snow and
continued till sunday
it then commenced to
rain and hail and
blow and snow

cloady to day looks
like rain the roads

up but these last
few days will throw
them back agane the
old troops want to be
dowing somthing towards

that the armey cannot
moove till thare thare
time is out I would
like to se the army
