My Dear Wife
I take this opportunety
of writing A few lines
to you I hope thay will
find you all well as
thay leave us at Present
I wrote you two
letters before this
I hope you hav got
them I giv you all
the Perticluers of my return
to camp captain waltshe
has returned from his
ferlow i expect he will
return to his rigiment
in a day ore two

I think we will
all gow to the rigiment
before long we are
expecting to get more
new horses shortley
thare is a fight gowing
on now but at fredrick
burg thay are having
some warme work thair
just now it looks
very much like rain
now I do not want
it to rain while this
fight is gowing on
it will be bad fore
our men if it rains
we hav not had no mail
since we came hear it
must all gow to the
regiment as we do
not get it

Hamilton is one of

has just came in time
fore me to answer in

says our Boys are all
well thay are kept
prety Buisey one thing
and another your letter
is dated May 30th i hav
not got as nice time
as i had on Provost

June 6 all is wel the firing
seased last night at dark
all is quiet this morning

I did not tell Hugh Rea about
that money
