lines to you hoping
thay will find you
all well as thay leave
us at Present I
hav just Received your
kind and welcome letter
dat March 3rd and was
glad to hear that you
ware all well and
that you had received
that money all right
I also received your
letter dat F 26th some
days agow

at dismounted camp
Lt. col. Jones is at Harris
Burg recruting so that
our regiment is without
any colonol Major
Robeson is in command
of our regiment Major
Walsh is also hear
we hav two more compneys
up hear with us thay
came up yesterday Major
walsh is in command
of this Batallion four
companeys I. G Band L
the rest of th regiment
is down at Gen Patrick
Quarters

ever since Walsh left
