we came back to camp
last night about eleven
o 11 clock the fighting
stills continues to gow
on at entervells our

enemy much I think
that thair must be
some object in vew

last night also some
cavalry on a raid
our men are fighting
about half miles from
this side of peaters Burg
and hav not bin in
it thay whare in the

The wather is veary
worme we could do
veary well with som
rain our men hav
taken considerabell
cannon hear since thay
came up I will
be abell to tell you
more about our time
being out in about
four weks 4 frome now

we hear that cooper
has got himself in
trobell is it true
Defauding the goverment
of bounty
