Mrs kelcey i with grate
Regret have got to inform you
that your husban C kelcy was killd
hear on the 27 of Oct in a charge
that we made near petersburg
i will say this for him that
he was as good a soldier as i had
in the Company and we miss him
so very much the ball hit him
in the hart so that he fell
ded to the ground and as i
got a letter from you last
night i opend it and found
that his money went all strate
i will fix his papers so that
you can get all his pay
