casase in this prisen at this time non have
died as yet with them the a bove desese sevrel
death sinc the first of march Doc John Huston
the onley on of my acquantenc which we have
rote back severel times I git leters from the other
boys at camp Dugless [1] they have all bin sic
2 have died .A.J. Braden Died 12th of march Green
Harper Died 5th of this inst the boys say they ar
vary well treated but anxious to git home they all
have rote home my self & wess right one or two
leters evory weak we no not whether aney of them
gits home we her from our field officrs often they
ar ar fort woren our maj McElexandr is probaly exchge
we her of the fite at corinth & pittsburg [2] Jackson [moss?]
with [over?] 5,000 men was capturd ner iland No. 10 they

Thar has bin 2 Leters com her from .Al.a one from Morgan
County on from Maderson Co. I have made severel
recquesitions for clothing. I am giting pirty bar
it is favorabel for me to git clothing in a day or to
