Jackson Miss

Dear Uncle
I thought
that I would wright you a
few lines to inform you that
I am well. I got one of the
waggons bake lest a day there
I staid at Mr Shrock I happend
to verry bad luck last night
Some one Stold my clothing &
all of my blankets I havent got
noth ing to sleat on I would
like to find out who
has got them. I intend to watch
for them, I Sold the butter for
$1,00 a pound It weight 37 pounds
I got tend pounds a Mr Cummins
I Sold it to the boys in camp
they would not give me but
$100 at the Boman House I will
collect the money soon I cant
wright I am not in a good
umer yore nephew F S Clark
