My very Dear friends it is through tho
kind mersies of god that I take my pen in
hand to rite you a few lines to let you
no how I am geting along sence I saw
you I am Sick and has bin ever Sence hugh
lef here on yesterday I thought that I was
a getting well but I am worse this morning than
ever I Do not believe that I ever will get well
heare for I have to be out in all sorts of
wether and all houres of the night John
Dale and Z.M. Givens and Billey is all
well They all enjoy good health they all
look better than I ever saw them thar is
Some cases of the mesels in our camps
I wont to see you all It would be grate
consalasion to me to be at home until I get
well if I do not get in a few days I
intend to come home
I mist come to a close give my
respects to all inquiring frend and
take tho same to your self
