Dear sun I hav on more opportunity this side of the eturnal
world of spurrites of righting you a few lines to in form
you of our helth at presant the bin much afflicted but I am in
hopes these lines may find you and family injoying good helth and
in joying the smiles of god after receving you leter I put of
righting to you so that I might gether all the news that
ws to in form you of all in this tim god laid his afflicting
hand on us and threw his murcies we all as capd deth but one
kisyans child is ded your mother may join kisyann
and her child and james and my Self ws all sick at the sam
time so that we had to tak george in the house to cook
I was for 8 or ten days that I wa intiley out of my mind I
knod of no pursons coming to see me tho all in the neighbourhood
come even the litle girls but I knod it not the hand of god
was desplaid in my recvery for every purson that saw me
said that I was oblige to die I bles god who holds all things
in his one hands and will extend murcy to the gilty for it is threw [his ?]
my unprofitble life is purseverd to the pres ant time old Mr Hilman

leter to hear that you was making out for a living as will as
you war times is very hard with us corn is from 5 to 6 dolors
flower 10 dolors a barel bacon from 12 ½ to 17 sents a pound and
as for horse feed thar is nun a mong us oats is a dolor a bushel and

can be got for food we hav to send to town for ha you
