Dear Wife and Childern
I received your leter this morning
and was glad to here from you
your leter found me well and
hard at work I hope this will
find you well I rote you a
leter and It was mald the same
day that you mald your leter
I gess you hav got it before
now I was glad to here that
you was all well and had plenty
to eat all so glad that the
horse was well we are still at
the same place but dont think
we will stay long here to day
is a find warm day and Herad
Hook and John <Tomas?> is geten Dinner

When I rote to you be fore I told you that we would
get Pade off in a day or too we are not Pade of yet but
I think it wont be long as soon as we are pade off I will send
you the mony when you rite to me agane tell me if Jim
dose what he Promist to do that is have you wood and corn
and how the horses loks and what you hav don with the
<cow?> <?????????????> <got?> well <?> Jane yet or not
I rote Aleter to Squire Hicks the other day if I get aleter from
him I will send it home. I got the dime and stamp that you
sent me but the stamp was no a count I had to Pay for
that leter that you sent me it was a <??> stamp and
tha hant any acount
I will send you a ring that I made out of C<????>
C<??> that is all that I have to send you at this
time rite as soon as you get this leter
<????> that is all that I have to rite at I have
yourse as ever H F Huffer to Alapher Huffer.
