Catharine we have orders to
march in the morning I dont
know where we will go I dont
know when I will get to write
a gain I got a letter from you
to day dated 26 of last month
my shirt & socks come to day
but the Handkerchief is behind
yet but it may come yet
the shirt & socks is first rate
and I am proud of them
it is getting dark and we have
no candles I will have to quit
writing dont be uneasy if
you dont get a letter for some
time I will write the first
chance
