Camp Young nere Savannah Ga
Dear wief I seat my self
this morning to drop you a few lines this
leaves me well hopeing it will find
you well I am Sorry to inform you
that we have to go to Jackson
Mississippi we have got 5 days Rashions
cooked and are going to start at
5 Oclock this Eavning we will not
come no nigher home than Macon
if we was to go through Atlanta I
Should have come home at all
hasards I would like to have
you and all the childering be
fore I went becaus we are Shore
to see the Elephant this time I
thi[n]k take good care of your self and
the childering tell them Howdy for papa
tell them I want to see them powerful
bad I will write often as I can
when you rite Direct your letter to
Jackson Miss I will get it it will
takes us a bout 8 days to get thare
you dont noe how bad I hate to
go there for we will see hard times
if we never meet no more on Earth
I hope we will meet in heaven
realms of Eternal bless write as often
as you can So fere well for this
