I seat my self
to drop you line to inform
you I did not get to go off this
morning I Stayed at th
waggon yard last night
I Struck up with Capt
Evin Whitly Col J.M. Edger
& Aron Brown tha was
Staying in the waggon
yard & I went and stayed
all night with them
aming to go on the morning
train but we got th car
shed to late I shall start
at 3 O clock I did not get
to see Col Lee he was not
at home but his Cleark
give me transportation &
a pass to go to my com[??]
I will rite to you

Camps I have Inquired
about that Recpt that your
Father give me tell your
Father to keap it and
present to Col Lee after while
it will be all right
I will write all the perticlers
when I rite so no more
