Dear sister and famly i take my pen in
hand to let you no that we are all well at this
time hoping that these few lines may find you
all well and doing well we got home about 3
oClock yester day safe i have got no leters
henry has not rote yet william has not
rote and if i dont git Some leters this
weak i will no[t] no what to think bout
it i have nothing of importince to rite to you
at this time unly for you to live the life
of a Christian and live in peas with every
body remember your days may not be long
in this world no more then mine and
teach your Children to love ther Creater in
tha day of ther youth that when
tha git old tha will not depart from it
may the lord bless you all it is my prar
for gesus sake pray for me for i have
no thougt that i will be with eny
of you long and i have no dout
but you will remember what i hav sed
