camp cumming near Abingdon
Dear Wife I take my seat
to inform you that I am well
hopeing that this may find you
and my sweet little Willie
well I wood to see you and
talk with you and eat some
Milk and butter with you
I want you to send me
one pare of gloves two pare
of socks and other clothes sutch
as you think that I need
I dont want you to
send to many for I cant
take them with me
I have got a wagon and two
fine horses
I have looked for aletters from
you but have not got but
one from you yet you
shurely dont rite or I
would get more letters from
you I have rote four to you
and got but on one

got time

think of it and feeld
like it and wants to
