I take my pen in hand this morning to
Drop you afew lines to informe you
that we air all well and in
good health and ihope when this
leter gets in your hands it will
find you and the Babys all in
good health too we have had some
verry Coald wether up here and iwant
you to send Both of my winter vest
you know what ones imean the one
pa got from the Ives and that Doble
Brested one and Farther says he wants
his winter vest too Send Both of mine
and Farthers and send me some winter
Pants pa says send hime his thick
Pants too put them all in anice
litle Box get Rance to make the
Box for you and get him to send it
off for you put the Cloths in
it and put Farthers name on it
and Directet it Just like you
do the leters and iwish that
you would put in the Box alitle
Botle that would hold about 1 gal
on of good whiskey for Farther to
take when it ranes al So Send
in the Box Some writing paper and

if you pleas Brother said send him

Buck and the Baby howdy for him

and the Baby for me and tell
them Both houdy and send me
Some of his hair if you pleas
we get nothing to Eat But Beef
and Biscuet we have aplenty of
Sugar and Coffee we have it 3 times
aday you must write to us Every
week and let us now how you

Die with Camp Dease you need not
Bee uneasy for idont think that
we will get in to afight

in Camps they Die up here Evry
