Dear ma
I take my pen in hand this
morning to drop you afew
lines to let you know how
we air giting on we air all
in good health at this time
and ihope when you get this
leter it will find you and the
rest of the family the same
you stated in your leter
that you had sent me apr
of shoes ihave not got them
yet if you putthtem in
george Boland Box iwill not
get them for he lost 2 of
his Boxes iwant you to write
and give me the names of
the things that you sent to
us By G. W. B if you please we
got our Pants & draws & vest

some of Bucks hair But inever
got that iwant you to send
me some of it in your next
leter Plat it and send it
to me if you please mr Wimberly
sent Pa a blanket cost 5.00 dolars
But he has not got it yet
the Box of Blankets that was
sent to the Company has not
got her yet maby so when
it gets her we will get
the things you sent to us
that is if you put them
in it which ihope you did
ihave not got any nuse to
write to you at this time
only our Regement has gone
out on Picket for 5 days
idid not go nether did Pa
or Brother for he had the
mumps ihave not had them
yet But iexpect iwill have it
