I take my pen in hand this
morning to drop you afew lins
to imforme you that we air all
well at Preasent hoping those
few lines may find you and
the Rest of the family the Same
I have not got any nuse to
write to you at this time we
had alitele twist with the
yankies the Other day we
got 85 Prisners and kild Some
15 or 20 we only lost too of
our men Iwent off the
other day to See some men
