Dear mother
I take the opputunity
to Rright to ancer youre letter
which came Safely to my hands
yesterday Evening I was more
than glad to here from
you and to here that you was
all well I am not well my
Self I have Bin verry Sick
Since we left camps having
to ly out in the Rane without
any tents and I had to throw
all my Blankets away we
air Expecting to leave here
Every minuete it is Reported
that we will go to North
Carlina But I cant tell how
true it is we can here
any thing in camps that we
want to here I have not
any nuse to write that would
intter[s?]rest you
ma you stated
