as I have the chance of sending a
letter to you by hand I will write
you afew lines to informe you of
my health, Iam in verry good health
at this time and I hope this will come
Safley to hand and find you and
the children all well ma I Shall
not write you a long letter this time
as I have not time you will Pleas
Send me a Shirt and a pr of Socks
by the first chance you get I am
in need of Some cloths wors than
I have I Ever was In my life have
not got no Pants no Coat and the
the Worst of all I Cant get any from
the Government they will not Pay me
any more money for fear we all
Will Desert, I Wish this war would
come to aClose and I dont care How
all I Want is Peace I Will come to a
close George chambers Sends you his Resp
all So Sends a letter in this and he
wants you to Put it in Envelop and
Back it to his Farther at Perry ga
