Dear aunt I
Seat myself down this evening
to wright you afiew
lines to let you know
that I [and] the family is all
well again I and william
has volenteered and went into
camps the 3 of october I come
home two weeks ago and
I want to go back next week
if I Can I am well Satesfied
william went back last
tuesday I think we will
leave for the coast before
many days we are agoing for
twelve months I was at a
weding ten days ago an old man
seventy years of age the girl twenty
two when I get back I
intend to marry or be a batchelor
one aunt Emily I want you
and all of the children to
wright to me as often as
you can mar says that she
is agoing to wright to you
and John before long Brother and
family is all well and is

take the pleasure of writing to yew
it has bin so long since I wrote a letter
that I hav almost got our of prac
tice I am al most a shamed of my
self for not writing to my good Aunt
long before now but pleas forgive me
and I will tri to do better I havent
any thing verry inter to wrote John

want to see you and all of your little
children worse than I ever did in
my life I thought I would write you
a few lines to let you know that I hav not
forgotten you Mar is well as usual and
wants to see you and the children She ses
She will write to you soon Mr Ellis ses
he intends to write to you he is not at
home today I must tel you something a
bout my children tha are wel fat and
saucy Mary Jamima can begin to talk
write smart you must write soon give my love
to all of the children and rceive a portion your self
