Dear Brother
I recived your kind lettr on friday last
and it gav geat stisfetion to hear from
you and more to hear that you all weer well
Brother I hav not much newes to wriete you at
present tell gorg that I wore my cotton [??]
to mount zion last friday Jo you dont know
how bad we miss you all I was at Mr
Greer last Weenday night at pray meeting
and after curvis cate and Fany Brake put
on a pair of James closs both at one time
cate put on the right leg fan the left
and started to walk of[f] and one fell wone
way and the other and luce and livy Brake
run to tell tee and Gray to come and help them
pul them of[f] and run bck and told them that
thay was coming thay tore them all to peces
we hve not bin nowhar since you left here
on a visit Peter [1] want to see you evry day
I want you to bee a good boy and try to serve
your God the balance of your days
Give my love and best respct to all your
mesmat and recive potion your self
Mary also send hers
your si[s]terer as ever
