New Camp
Wednesday March the 4 1862
Dear Father I embrace the
oppertunity of droping
you a few lines just to let you
no I am enjoying good helth
and hope those few lines will
find you the same Dear Father
I dwo not no how to head my
letter Cobbs Legion is move
from Camp marion 9 miles
we move yestedday and are
going to move a gain a Fryday
to Suffolk 50 miles from this
place and we have to march
to the place and I have moore
clothing and beding then I
can carry and I be leave I will
Sent it home for I will have
to leave it heare in the woods
dear Father you have red it
in the holy bible

have to leave it all we ma have
to go to Tenisee be fore we

and the yankeys is affraid

the day I went in to camps
I weigh lbs 135 March the 2
