Dear Husband I seat my self
to drop you afew lines which
leaves me not well but the
childring is well I received yore
kind letter a few days ago and
the reason I did not rite sooner
I was awaiting to get don
sowing wheat I thought that
I would wait aday or two
to rite but I keep adreaming
so much bad dreams
I thought that I would rite
this morning you Stated
something about Polk luster
I have not heard any thing
about him only he is aflying
around Mr Cushings down
hear I can say to to you that
the Enrolling officer taken
Andy Churchill and george
Gipson and hand coofed them
to gether and taken them off

I have not dug my potatoes
yet the vines is green yet
and I have had so much to
do that I could not and as
for my pigs ther is one of
them dead and another looks
like it will die and I would
like for you to come home
for I am agoing to kill my
Shoat when the weather
breaks off I dont want you
to disert so they well punish
you So I have nothing more at
presant only I well do all
I can and as for the childring
they wont work behind my
back and as for Joe Churchill
I do not know any thang about
him So I well come to aclose
for this time rite Soon and
fail not I remain your wife
