Camps Near Fredicksburg va
Dear Mother I Seat my Self to
write you A fiew lines to let
you know how I am I am in good
helth at this time and was glad
to hear that you was all well and
was Doing well you Sed that
you had got A home at last
and I was glad to hear that you
had got A home you did not
Say what tormes that you got
hit on you Sed that you wanted
me to Send you Some money
I will try to Send you Some the
next time that wee Draw I hante
got any Money now it takes near
all the Money that I make to by
Some thing to eat for our Rashing
is Short wee have Just Come
from Picket this moning wee Caut
the most Fish that I ever Saw
in my life I wish that the wor
wold end So that wee Come

harmony I thaught that thear
was A Cance for me to Come home
But there is no Chance for me to
go now but I hope that the wor
will Soon end and wee will Soon
bea at home with you all again
Mother I want you to write to
me as Soon as you get this leter
