Dear Mother I Seat my Self
this morning to write you A
fiew lines in answer to yours
of the 29 it found me rite
Poarly but this leaves me in
tolerable good helth at this time
and I hope that these lines
may find you all in good helth
Mother I have went
through another hard fite but
I did not get hurt wee was
not in the hotest of the
fight it was a hard fite
for about 20 miles Containing
A Potion of the Same Battle
ground I wish that the war
wold Close and that the
wee Cold Come home one
time more I will Close for
this time nothing more
at this time but will
