Dear farther I seat my Self to
drop you A few lines to let you
no that I am well at this
time And hope ing when
these few lines comes to hand
hit may find you all well
farther I will send you
Henrys $50,00 bounty by
John Martin to you and
I will send $25,00 of my
money to melissa with it
I dont no wheth er I ever
would get the chance to
send it any more or not
so I will risk it with him
far ther P. B. Ray [1] has A
note on Henry for ten dollars
and you must wright to
me whether to pay it or not

it and if you want me to
pay it I will pay him and
you can pay the ten dollars
to Melissa So I will come to
a close wright soon and
