Jeneral Hospital No 13 Richmond Va
Dear mother your kind and
very welcom of date the 8 th came
to hand yesterday and gave me
much satisfaction to hear from
you and hear that you was all
well I can say to you in
reply that I have bin very sick
but I am getting up and
a bout again I hope when th
few lines may come to hand
they may find you all well
and in prosperity
you rote to me that you have
not had but too letters from
me since I have bin hear
I can say to you that I have
rote and rote to you time
after time and I cant get
any answer from you
I have nbot had but too
or three letters from you since
I have bin hear

Dear mother I want you
to write to me as soon as
get this letter and let
me now how you are coming
on since pap has gone to the
army rite me all of the
news in the kneighbor
hood I want you to send
me some money and
some postage stamps
as I am out of money and
stamps both and I want
you to send me some if
you posibly can
I have no knews to rite to
you at this time only
I want you to rite to me
as soon as you get this
and rite me all of the
news
so nothing more at prea
sent but remain your
affectionate son untill
