My Dear brothers I seat my self to write
you A few lines to let you know that
we are all well at prsent except
my self I have got a sore throat
I have lost my baby she lived nine
days the rest of the famaly is well hopeing
this will find you boath well we
have nothing new to wright about the
yankes has knott been out to see us yett
and I hope will knot but we exspect
them at any time father and Mother send
their love to you boath and my loe to
you boath Mary send her love to
you boath she and the children is
well at this time her baby
is six weeks old he is alarge baby as you
have seen his name is [?????] [1]
she is getting along verry well except
she is verry loneley Jesey have left her
but I will with her all I can I hope
she will get along verry well
Nancy sends her love to you both the
children send their love to you both
she is getting along verry well thank
the lord all of the rest of my brthers
famaly is well and sends ther love to

we have a bad chance to send letters
if you have harn from langley

that he has gone to virginia but
we cant hear from him where he
is gone or knt if you can get any
poastedge stanps sends us some
if you kneed mony let us know and
we will try to get it to you
tell george that his folks
is well at this time give all
of our respects to him I must come
toclose the man that i am going to send
