D Williams Dear Father I
have taken the oppertunity
of informing you that I am
well at this time and I
hope that these few lines
may fiend you the Same
blesing I a station with
a bout three thousan men
one man dide the first
day I Come heare and another
died the next day too
has died Sence we Come
heare and nother expected
to die now eveary day I am
veary well well Satfide
but I would be better
Satfide home I want you
to write to me and Send
it in of Capt Wiliams [1]
