Dear Brother I have taken the opp
ortunity of writing you a few
lines to inform you I am well
at this time and I hope that
those few lines may find you
the Same Blesing and all the
family the same helth John I
want you to write to me how
all of Fathers Family is and
all a bout the times. tell Father
to write to me John I received a
letter from you the 2 day of Sept
and I was Veary sorry to here that
Father was sick But I hope
that he will soon get well
I want to come home but I can
not do So John give my love to Sister
Cathrine and tell hir that I
would Be glad to see hir and
I want you to Send me werd
if you have got my Carpet
Bag or not I sent it home
when I was at garys Burg
