Camp Clark Stafford County
Dear Brother I have taken
the opportunity of writing you a
few lines to inform you that
I am well at this time and
I hope that these few lines may
find you the Same blesing
John I want you to write
to me where you are at work
and what is the resing that you
dont write to me for I have wrote
4 or 5 letters to you and you
have not wrote to me yet and
I will stop writing you if
you dont write to me John I would
like to see you and your
wife one time but dont
when I will See you for I
Can not tell but Pleas
write John for I want
heare from you all

my fathers folks is for I
would like to se them if I
Could but it ant in my power
to See them I wish it was
and I would See them be
for night but I dont know
When I will see them
a gain for I dont know
we are epecting a Battle hear
but I Dont know when it
will be for I dont know
John tell father to write to
me if he has ever recived
any from me for I sent
him 8 dollars By P H
Hand you must write to me
Soon So I will come to a Close

all is my prayer
