Manassas Junction va Nov 25, 61
I recievd your leter the other day and
hav seated my self this eavning to
send you an answer though I
you one the day before I recievd yours
your leter found me well and harty
and I hope the few lines will find you
well you wrote somthing a bout the
neighbors that use to visit so much
has fel out and dont visit so much
I know what the widows and Smiths
has fel out a bout I recon but I dont
know what John [???] and H [eckerds?]
has but I would like to know if
you can tel me I would like to hear
all the nuse if I could though we
must bee carful I am very partic
ular the leter you sent me I burnt
it as soon as I red it over good and
found what was in it and I want
you to destroy this one or keep it
conceald so I recon that I had as well
quit I will send uncle Enos a few
lines and send it in this envelop
and you must contrive it to him as soon
as you can Yours truly untel death
