My dear wife I now Seat my Self to
answer your mornful letter whitch I
received this morning I was glad to hear
that you was well but Sorry to hear of
your dear Sisters death but I hope She
is now in heaven whare She can rest forever
She is better off then we air I am also
Sorry to hear that my dear baby is Sick
but I hope you will all be well by the
time yous receives theas few lines I am
well and harty at the presenttime and
I am also happy to State to you that I
have profest of my Sins and I am
going to Jine the church and be baptised
in afew days but I dont no ritely what
day for the minesters has not Sot the day
yet my dear wife I wold like for you to
be hear on that day our meeting is Still
going on I dont exspict it will brake as long
as we Stay hear and I also State to you that
Daniel is profest also we have three preachers
carrying on the meeting my dear wife
we have the news in camp that we
will take our winter quaters in north
carolina this winter I Suppose the captin
Shold have Sead So and if we do my dear
I hope I will get to See you for I
wont to See you very bad yes I do

departed love he cant hardly look

and we must all try to meet
hur and live in peace and happness
