the third of this month I was
truly glad to hear form you but
I expected to hear from that
Soldier my dear I am well
and harty at the present time
only yesterday I had the luck
of Spliting my left hand open
but I had it Soad up again
I cannot use it at all I hope
my dear this will find you well
and harty and got that big Soldier
I have no news to rite at the
present time only I am Sorry
that lewis has to come into
the army I wold like for him
to come to this compny but
it is too late now if I wold
do knew it about amonth ago
I cold have had him braught hear
