Dear wife I take this one more
privilege to drop you a few lines
to let you no that how I am I
am not verry well at this time
but am able to be a bught
I have got the dihiraer I be
glad to heare from you as I have
not heard from you Since I Seen
you I am a long ways from you now
I am 15 miles a bove gordinvill
in Cite of the blue Ridge this morning
in rout for Jackson but our order
dos not ex tend beond this place
we may get forth> order if we do
not we will Stay here we are in
warkers bigade out fare to day
cracker and fat meete I have
passed over a menny hill and
rock Since I left home yiu
must remember me in all your Prayes
that I may return to yiu Safe
father I want you and all the
rest to remember me I want you
to rite to me as Soon as you get this
without fail and let me no how you
