My Dear brther I now
take up my pen to rite yo
a few lines to let yo no
that we are all well at
this time and I hope [??]
these few lines will find
yo in the same state of
health I have not got
much to rite to yo only
that I would be glad
to see yo agane but ig
I dont see yo in the world
let us try to meete in
heaven whare parting
is no more I have not
heard from W [?] [???]
since the nine [??]

orders to march at a
moment worning and
I donte now whare he
is now he had not rote
now leter in along
time the are all gone
from whare the was
and I dont now whar
the are now the last
time that I heard he
was going one to mary
land or pencilvania

to me as soon as yo can
