up my pen to rite yo a
few lines to let yo no
that I am well at this
tim and I hope that
these few lines may find yo
enjoying the same blessing
of health fro him who
is the giver of every good
and perfect gift I hav

to rite onley that they
have had the worst fight
in mary land
that ever has bin since
was the most
the war begun and the
most kild and wounded
and taking prisner that
