camp near Brandy Station
Dear uncle I Seat my Self
in order to write you A few
lines to let you know that
I am well and i hope that
these few lines may find
you well we got to the company
last wednesday and i tell
you we was glad to See the
Boys i heard from [14th NC Inf.?]
and the Boys was all well I want
you to tell Bob and T S White
to not get Married untill
i get Back i was glad to
hear that you had all got
home the next time the yankes
comes up in to

i want you to tell all
of the folks houdy for me
george pickens said to tell
you that he was well and
in good spirits i expect
we well have to fight the
yankees Before long well
I Believe i have wrote all
that i can think of at this
time So nothing more write
