lines to inform you that I am well
at this time hoping that these
lines may Reach your kind hands
and find you in good health

Children was sick I hope and pray
to god that tha may git well again
and live till I git to come home and
see them once more in this life I
think it would bee more satisfaction
to me to see you all than any thing
that ever I saw you Rote for

I dont now what to say about it I want

if you think that it tis the best
