Dear Wife
I am at present enabled
By the Blesing of all mity
god to drop you a fu
lines to let you here
from R C my health is
good much beter than it
was when I was at home
I landed tusday about
2 o clock I got wet as rain
cold make me I had to
travel part of the way i

was ruff and wee got
wet all over with the
waves I had to leve my Boxs
at Smithvill but I got
them the nex day but
I had a bad day of it
Sum of my men dident get
Back til thursday

Small pox is all well

to Wilmington to day
for two dolars worth
