Dear loveing wife I Set mi Self don
to write you afew lines to let you no
that I am well at presant and hope
when these few lines cums to your
loveing hands that tha may find you all
well and dooing the best you can
Dear wife I will Say to you that we
have hard times her we dont git
half anuf to eate her we git apint of
flower aday and alittle beef and
for onse aday and that is all we eat
Dear loveing wife if I onely could
git Som thing from home to eate one time
more it would doo me so much good
for I never Sufferd So much for
Som thing to eat in mi life but
I hope and pray to god to git home one
time more wher I can live like I

from Mr John hos and I want you to
pay him whenever you See him I was
out of money and I cant draw nun

was agoing to cum out hur befor long and
I want you to Send me a box with him
if you can and if he dont cum Mr
troy is agoing to bring boxes from
newton about christmas and if he
dus you can Send with him
