Dear loveing wife I Set mi Self
don this morning to wright you
afew lines to let you no that I
am well at presant oneley mi
leg is not well yet but it is
gitting better Dear love I receivd
your kind letter that you Sent
with Mr Deptor and was verry
glad to hare from you all that
you all was well and dooing
the best you can Dear love you
Say that you hadent hard whether
I got the haver Sack that you Sent
or not I gotit on Sunday evening
after he left home and I rote
you aletter on mondy morning
and I had rote one on Sattur
day before and I dont no what
is the reason you dont git them
Dear love I would rote yestor
day but I hadent time I had
to Stand gard and I hadent time

you have yet and corn and
I had for about the Sheepe I
want to no how men ny you
have and how menny lambs
I want you to try and kepe a
plenty of hogs and feede them
as well as you can for with out
meete it is har living I have had
the triel of it Sence I left home

all the corn you can and I want

how the wheate looks and oats

try and work your mool [mule] and
