my Dear Father I imbrace the Present
opportunity of Writing you a few lines By
reading you a few Will inform you that I
am Well at the Presant time and i hope that these
few lins Will find you all Well and harty I
hav no nuse to Write to you of intrust We
hav Some Cold Weather here nun of the Boys
hant took the Small Pox yet you Write
all the good nuse you hav in your next
letter times is hard her and I am afraid Will
Bee Worse you must rite to all the Boys
ever thing is high her all the Boys is Well
and harty Mary is Well and harty that man
that was to Bee Shot he got a Waye
last Wednesday Befor he Was to Bee Shot
Friday George P Parsons is Well and he is
the Bigas devil in Camp and he Sas that he
Wold lik to Bee at home
