Biography:
The Glovers were a farm family from Rowan County. Jeremiah A. Glover (b. ca. 1842) enlisted as a private in Co. K, 4th NC Inf. He was captured near Chancellorville in early May 1863 and paroled before the end of the month. He was wounded and captured in February1865, confined at Camp Chase, and released on June 13, 1865.
