state Z. B. Vance to grant and Relese unto us the
under assigned J. C. Shores for a Black Smith as
we are nedy in the Distrect and he is a good Smith
he had Surved in the Confedret States for twenty
Months as a Soldier and has three fingers Shot of
in his left hand and is not fite for the Survice
of the Confedret States
